St. Shantal School, Malamukal was established in the year 2000. St. Jane Francis de Shantal, is the patroness of the school. The school got affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in 2001. The School is owned and managed by the Sisters, Daughters of St. Francis de Sales (DSFS).

The School is pledged to impart quality education by taking into consideration the overall development of the child. Empowering the child to become a confident adult and a convinced citizen of India is the main task of any school. Envisioned by this aim St. Shantal School offers a curriculum, which strengthens the innate talents and the inborn abilities of a child.
